Backyard Magnet Tile Game for Kids: A Fun and Affordable Summer Activity

Looking for a budget-friendly way to keep your kids entertained, active, and outside this summer? I’ve got you covered with a mom hack that’s equal parts genius and giggle-inducing. It costs under $40 to set up, uses things you probably already have (or can grab on your next Walmart run), and will turn your backyard into a mini water park with zero mess.
Here’s what you need:
1 metal clothing drying rack (yes, the kind for laundry!)
A handful of Magnetiles (any brand of magnetic tiles will do)
A water squirter (you can even use a dollar-store version!)
That’s it. Seriously.
Set up the drying rack in your yard or on your patio. Let your kids stick the magnetiles all over the metal bars like little, colorful targets. Then hand them a water squirter and let the games begin! The mission? Blast down the tiles with streams of water like they’re mini invaders from another galaxy. 😎
